   Library Programs for Babies, Toddlers & Preschoolers

 

Monday mornings are for the minis! Join Miss Dianne for the following fun, engaging programs for babies, toddlers &  preschoolers! Children are invited to stay & play after each session! Registration is appreciated but not required.

BABY & TODDLER TIME

Meeting Dates: Sep. 25th, Oct. 23rd , & Dec. 4th

Time: 11:00 a.m.—11:30 a.m. 

Ages: Birth to 2 years and a caregiver

Bring your little ones for lap-time with simple stories, songs and rhymes. These 20 minute sessions are a great way to introduce your child to early language skills in a positive and fun environment.

PRE-K   S.T.E.A.M.  STORYTIME

Meeting Dates: Sep. 11th, Oct. 2nd , Nov. 13th & Dec. 11th

Time: 11:00 a.m.—11:30 a.m. 

Ages: 3 to 5 years and a caregiver

Children are invited to these special                             

science themed sessions that combine literacy with fun,  age-appropriate activities to build skills in  Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math.

MUSIC & MOVEMENT

Meeting Dates: Sep. 19th, Oct. 16th , Nov. 27th

Time: 11:00 a.m.—11:30 a.m. 

Ages: 18 months to 4 years and a caregiver

Come enjoy this program filled with music, movement,   dancing, rhythm-building games, instrumental play, & early literacy activities. Toddlers & babies are welcome (although not all activities will be within their developmental range.)    

 

 


 

 

Library Programs for Children

Tuesday evenings are filled with fun for the whole family!  Bring the entire family and join Miss Dianne for the following exciting programs! Older siblings that are tween & teen aged can go explore Makerspace while younger children & parents are having fun at storytime! No need to leave anyone at home—come one, come all! Registration is appreciated but not required.

Time: 5:30 p.m.—6:15 p.m.

FULL  S.T.E.A.M.  AHEAD

Meeting Dates: Sep. 5th, Oct. 10th,  Nov. 14th & Dec. 12th

Time: 5:30 p.m.—6:15 p.m. 

Ages: Target age group is grades K—5th, but families/all ages are welcome

Join Children’s Librarian Dianne Piper and explore the world of S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math). Each month Miss Dianne will present fun, hands-on activities to build skills in the 5 five areas of S.T.E.A.M.

SPOOKTACULAR FAMILY HALLOWEEN PARTY

Guests of all ages are invited to join Library staff on Tuesday, October 24th from 5:00 p.m.—6:00 p.m. for scavenger hunts, costume contests, crafts, refreshments and more—including decorating a gingerbread zombie!  Don’t forget to dress in costume!

TRICK-OR-TREAT @ THE LIBRARY

Library staff will greet ghouls outdoors along the luminated path on Tuesday, October 31st during the hours that the Library is open on the evening of community trick-or-treat.
