Reminder to patrons that items placed in the curbside returns are still checked out to you until they are Scanned Inside the Library.  Forcing items into the returns or overstuffing the returns can result in damage patrons are responsible for.  Items should never be left hanging out of the returns or stuck in the return shoot.  Items can be easily stolen that way.  It is much safer, and cost effective, to keep the items and pay a small fine than to pay replacement costs.  If the library is open, it is best to bring your items inside.  During the holiday season the returns may see increased use, so use good judgement when returning items.

Be an Angel!  Join in the spirit of giving this holiday season by sponsoring an Angel on the Library's Book Tree.  Proceeds raised will help the library with the purchase of new books in 2015.  Each Book Angel represents a dollar amount from $1.00 to $50.00.  Pick your angel and donate that amount.  Your name will be listed on the other side of your angel.  The angel will be posted on the main floor by the water fountain.  Donate in the spirit of giving.  Donate for a loved one or in their memory.  Donate because you support literacy.  Children, teens, adults, families, friends, businesses, anyone may donate.  The library thanks you for your support, and wishes everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and have a splendid New Year!

The library will be closed December 24th - 27th, 31st and on New Year's Day, January 1, 2015.   Items you have borrowed from other libraries may be due on these days.  Please check your slip for due dates.  Call before to request renewal, or leave a message if after hours.  Please do not overstuff the curbside returns.  Remember, the items you have charged out are still your responsibility until they are discharged inside the building.  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
