Join us to learn to code at the library on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month! Participants may use the library's public computers but are also welcome to bring their own devices that have the most current chrome update. Light snacks will be served. Please call x 2751 to register.

February 7th: Advanced Javascript--Games & Visualizations
Teens are invited to come learn how to code with JavaScript to make games and other animations. Some knowledge of JavaScript will be useful!

February 21st: Javascript--Natural Simulations
Teens can continue learning JavaScript for animation and games in the previous lesson if they need to finish, but they are also encouraged to learn how to take their work up a notch and make it look more natural and realistic. Attendance to at least one previous JavaScript meeting is recommended as teens will be building on what they've learned.

March 7th: HTML/Javascript--Interactive Web Pages
Learn how to make a website interactive and fun! Some knowledge of HTML and JavaScript would be helpful but not required.

March 21st: Code with JQuery
Teens can learn JavaScript shortcuts with JQuery and get an idea on what a programming handbook looks like. Some JavaScript and HTML will be helpful but not needed.

April 4th: Start Coding with Python
Teens can learn the coding language Python with no prior experience needed.

April 18th: Keep Going with Python
Teens can continue to learn the coding language Python with no prior experience needed.

May 2nd: Make an App
Teens can learn how to make an app with no prior experience needed.

May 16th: Create a Word Game with Python
Teens can learn how to make a simple word game coding with Python with no prior experience needed.
