Computers for Public Use

The Kinsman Free Public Library offers two desk top computers and two Chromebook laptops available for free in-library public use. You must have a valid KFPL library card in your name and in good standing to use the public computers. Bring your library card with you to use a computer.  

Please note that computers automatically shut down 15 minutes before scheduled closing, please plan your time accordingly.  

Computer Use Rules  

To Login to a Computer

Patron ID - Library Card number found on the back of your card.

If you do not have a card, visit the Circulation Desk for a one-time use guest card.  

When Finished: Click Exit

Printing  

• B&W Prints: 1-sided $ .10 each; 2-sided $ .15 each
• Color Prints: 1-sided $ .25 each; 2-sided $ .50 each  

We accept cash only as payment for print outs and copies. Please see the front desk for specialized printing options and pricing. When finished, take your items to the circulation desk to pay.

Wi-Fi 

KFPL offers a free wireless network to use while on site (Wi-Fi) for personal computers and devices. Please choose “Kinsman Public Library”, no password required.

One-On-One Sessions

The Technology Educator is available to meet with patrons one-on-one for to provide assistance on a multitude of technologies. Get personalized help with your smartphone, tablet, or laptop at the library. Personalized technology assistance is available by appointment free of charge. Call (330) 876-2461 for more information and to book your session today! Technology Education Programs including one on one appointments, game days, and additional programs are available throughout the year.

All Technology Education classes and one-on-one sessions are completely FREE of charge. Class sizes are limited and require pre-registration. One-on-one sessions will be available on a scheduled basis; Walk-ins are available, but please call first to check availability.  Patrons may sign up for one-on-one sessions and computer classes by calling or stopping into the Library.  

NorthStar Digital Literacy

Self-directed assessment and learning tool that covers a variety of technology scenarios. Find short lessons and practice exercises to improve skills on common computer topics such as email basics, Microsoft Word, and social media.
