Fall Youth Programs

Text: Youth Programs at the Library Fall Fun; Picture of children sitting on grass holding pumpkinsFall into the library for fun programs for kids & teens! From Storytime to Lego Club...there's something for everyone!

The library strives to create unique, dynamic, interesting programs to offer to children and teens throughout the year. It is the library's goal to engage the youth in our community with enriching programs that will enlighten their minds. We encourage our young people to read, and then work incredibly hard to foster their reading interests so that they will become life-long lovers of reading and learning.

The library is a place where our young people are free to explore new worlds. While we encourage quiet exploration, exploration often times leads to excitement--and excitement often leads to colorful, expressive discourse and claims of joy. These are beautiful sounds to our staff's ears! When children and teens are enjoying the library, it means that we are accomplishing what we set out to do. With that said, our staff apologizes in advance for any disruptions that we and our young patrons may cause during programs and while exploring the library. We ask that you understand that shaping our youth to become competent, regular library users often is a noisy, crazy, irresistably fun and wildly incredible job. Also, we invite you to join in on the fun if you happen to be here during a youth program. Afterall, sometimes it is the young minds that help to enlighten us!

Check out all the fun that's happening this fall!
